Why Traveling is So Important

Few things grow an individuals soul more than travel.

Personally, I have never felt more fulfilled and enriched than when I’m wandering a foreign place completely new to me. Tasting new foods and meeting new people, getting lost while looking at shop windows, it’s all part of the beauty that is found in travel.

OOTD: London Winter Markets

Hello again!

There’s nothing that makes the winter season feel more authentic than a winter market. I probably visited at least five while in London, and every time I got mulled wine. #priorities

A Guide to New Years Eve

Hi hi!

Friends. New Years Eve is upon us. And immense outfit panic has officially set in. My closet is all over my floor and I successfully have zero things to wear.

Therefore, I made an imaginary outfit idea online in hopes of giving my internet friends an idea of what I would like to wear on New Years Eve if I could afford to buy everything I want.

Street Style: College Chic

Hey friends,

Today I’m bringing you some pictures of what I wore to college last week.

It’s nice to feel confident in your appearance (even though there are some days I still can’t be bothered to put real pants on).

Anyways, carry on if you want to see how I dressed myself. I’m a big girl.

Spring Fashion 2015 Lookbook

Hi Friends!

I don’t know about you, but I adore reading fashion magazines, scouring the pages and devouring everything related to what’s in style for the upcoming season.

However, spring is not my favorite season. In fact, it’s my least favorite season of all. Fall is such an exciting time for fashion, winter has the expected layers and scarves, and summer is all about bring free and light. Yet spring is so….blah. What do you wear? Do you layer? Do you wear shorts or pants? Short sleeve or long?

It’s confusing.

So, I’ve made it my mission to make spring a little better for all of us by coming up with some interpretations of spring/summer 2015 runways trends. Because let’s be honest…no one is going to wear those thick socks with the chunky heels and our hair crimped….not naming names….

I did a bit of research. I read many magazines and searched many sites for what was going to be “in” this season. This research concluded that pale ballerina pinks were in- considering channelling your inner ballerina. Stella McCartney had some AH-MAZING pieces. *sigh*

I also noticed quite a bit of structured shoulders this season, which I paired with the softness of the pale pink silk camisole above. Not to toot my own horn or anything….but I made that top. Yeah, I went to college.

And of course, the overwhelming item of interpretation is floral. Floral tops, floral skirts, floral dresses, you name it, it was on the runway. I took a lot of inspiration from Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Peter Som. The great thing about florals are that there are so many colors! Every shoe and every bag suddenly has a match…like when else am I going to wear these kick-booty bright orange pumps?!

What do you think?? I had such a fun time coming up with different outfits for this post and I hope you found some inspiration to get you through until summer!

Now, I’m going to go clean up my floor…and the massive pile of clothes…wait wheres my floor?!

Christmas Eve OOTD

Hey guys!

I hope you had an amazing holiday season and are ready for the new year! I had a great time with family and friends over, and thought I would share with you the outfit I wore Christmas Eve!

I love the way that you can dress up or down a chiffon/polyester dress. This one I picked up is in a gorgeous dove grey color in the most flattering silhouette. I chose to pair it with knee-high taupe suede boots, a taupe cross-body bag from Gap, and a rose gold chain necklace. Since it was freezing this night, I brought a houndstooth black&white jacket from Forever21. My sister picked this jacket up like 1million seasons ago and I still adore it.

I hope you liked my little OOTD snapshot! What is your favorite holiday look??

Grunge Chic OOTD

Hey guys,

I have been all about the fall fashion lately. Beanies, layers, knits and lots of monochrome colors. I recently also had my hair done and was feeling extra snazzy so I thought I’d share that look with you all!

It’s amazing what a nice pair of black leggings and a flannel can accomplish! I love the ability to layer during fall as one moment it can be freezing, the next a hot flash. These booties are my new loves as well, a recent find off Asos they have just a slight heel and make even my most casual looks a bit more trendy. Recently I’ve also been loving layering with cute frilly socks. Remember when we used to wear ruffled socks with our dress shoes when we were little?! Well, who says you can’t bring that trend back when you’re in your 20s??

Hope you enjoyed this little outfit!
