Once you graduate college and get a job *fingers crossed,* the first step we all aspire to take is to get our own place.
We’ve been living in dorms and student housing arrangements for the past 4-ish years and our wings are ready for us to fly!
So, you’ve got the big-kid paycheck- its time to perk up your place!
Where has this brand been all my life?!
Let me back track.
I found myself wandering the aisles of Sephora. I know BIG shock. And the Kat Von D Lolita liquid lipstick was sold out again. Another shocker. So I was walking aisle to aisle looking for another lip product to fill the Lolita shaped hole in my heart.
That’s when I stumbled upon the Buxom display and the Full-On Lip Sticks and Full-On Lip Creams.
I don’t even know why I picked the first one up, but I am SO GLAD that I did. These lipsticks/lipglosses are OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Another week, another sample.
This past week I tested another serum I received with a Sephora online order.
Spring is around the corner, and that means spring cleaning.
Now I font know about you, but I have WAY too many pairs of shoes.
Like, do I need 14 pairs of old navy flip flops? Probably not, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW.
So, as I was cleaning out my closet, I got to thinking what are my ‘must-have’ shoes? Which shoes are my ride-or-dies, my essentials, my go-tos.
And here they are…..
Every month, I have a little list of goodies I am lusting after. Some months I want to completely redo my wardrobe, other times I’m binging on makeup. But this March I’ve been all over the place.
Whether its browsing ASOS.com or scouring the new arrivals page of Sephora, I feel like I am always on the internet shopping. Does anyone else have this problem?!
Oh thank god, its not just me.
We know Hermes. We know the signature orange color, the quality materials, and the very, very, very insane price tags.
And what is most commonly associated with Hermes? Well, their signature Birkin bag of course.
This bag is so insanely popular that even the wealthiest people have to be on a waiting list for at least two years to even possibly get one.
But why do we continue to buy them? What’s the allure around a bag so expensive that it could buy several nice cars?
Oh you didn’t know? Yeah. This bag is worth upwards of $10,000.
Sh*t. I know.
This time of year is all about cleaning out your closet, rearranging your home and decluttering. I find this the perfect opportunity to do some refreshing in the scent category as well.
I’m usually drawn to similar scents year-round. However, during the spring I tend to gravitate towards more floral/musky tones. Things like lily, vanilla, musk, rose and amber. Mixed with a slight fruity undertone, and you have the perfect prequel to summertime. Continue reading

I have a shopping problem.
I also have a problem where I want things I can’t afford.
Champagne taste on a coors light budget much?
Occasionally, I enjoy perusing the designer section of online retailers thinking up my dream closet. But, I’m not all about buying things that I would wear once and never again. I prefer what you call “investment pieces.” Classic pieces you can wear over and over again that stand the test of time. And, if I had an unlimited budget, these are the goodies I would pick first.
