Product Empties: Springtime Edition

hello again friends!

I have been hoarding my garbage again. Whoopsie. But it’s for your benefit! I always love reading peoples empties posts or watching their videos because I feel like they give more complete reviews of their products. Sometimes first impressions aren’t everything, and using the product for a month or two can give you a better idea of its worth!

That all being said, I would love to share with you what have used up within the last few months of springtime!

Skincare:

The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion- omg long name. great product. I absolutely adore how this nightime cream smells, and used it primarily when I was having a bad skin day. It really helped keep the blemishes and redness at bay.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream- a crowd favorite, this cream is intensely moisturizing and I adore using it on my hands every night before bed. It keeps my hands soft all day!

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter- love this stuff. I have purchased 27million of them. Enough said.

Murray Clarifying Cleanser- This is one of my favorite face washes of all time. I rarely see immediate improvement with my breakouts but this wash instantly helps clear your skin. I love having this bottle around for that time of the month!

Nails:

Essie polish in Style Hunter- I loved this bright pink color. Unfortunately the cap didn’t get screwed on tight enough and it dried out rather quickly šŸ˜¦

Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat- again, love this top coat. It adds instant shine and helps my polish last longer on my nails!

Hair:

Garnier Fructis Volumizing Anti-Humidity Hairspray- I loved this hairspray soley for the fact that it smells brilliant. Frankly, most Garnier products have that outstanding quality. Was it the best hairspray ever, no probably not.

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Moroccan Oil Treatment- I love putting an oil-based product in my hair after hopping out of the shower. It helps keep the frizz at bay and leaves the shine lasting all day long. This product lived up to those expectations and lasted literally forever!

Fekkai Color Care Luxe Color Masque- I love a good hair mask. This little treat helped my to lock in the moisture after excessive styling of my hair. It also made my locks suppppper soft for days!

Makeup:

Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap in Peppermint- Technically, this isn’t makeup. However, it is my absolute favorite makeup brush cleaner….so it counts.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 012 Buff Beige- I adore this powder. Adoreeeeeeee it.

e.l.f Lip Exfoliator- Don’t buy this guys. I mean, I love a good lip exfoliator but this was like rubbing sandpaper on your lips and it broke the day I bought it.

Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil in Soft Brown- LOOOOOVE. My fave brow pencil ever! It creates the most natural looking brows!

Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation- Ok, why can I not buy this in the US yet?! This light foundation smells amaze and it gives such a dewy finish. I NEED MORE

Maybelline The Falsies mascara- A great drugstore mascara! This creates dramatic lashes, however there is quite a bit of fallout :/

And thats it guys and gals! I hope you enjoyed my garbage šŸ˜‰ Maybe next time I won’t wait until I have so much…..

Product Empties #1

Ta-Da!

I finally used up some beauty goodies! Isnt it such a satisfying feeling when you actually finish something?! I always feel like I’ve unlocked some sort of amazing achievement I lead such an exciting life….

Anywho…here is a delightful collection of what I’ve used up and a mini review of each:

products

Ā Skincare:

Murad Clarifying Wipes: Not too shabby, definitely felt clean after using, but probably wouldn’t re purchase-not outstanding results

Garnier Nourishing Cleansing Oil: OMG literal life changer in the makeup remover world. A quick rub on the eyes will melt away even the darkest makeup. Will absolutely repurchase (in fact I have).

Origins Checks and Balances Face Wash: Pretty good face wash, very frothy and mild. Love this when my skins feeling a bit irritated since its quite subtle on the skin.

GlamGlow YouthMud Exfoliating mask: Amazing mask. This cleansĀ deep into your pores and I haveĀ absolutely seen a difference the more I use it. I would repurchase if it wasn’t so darned expensive…

Murad Advanced Active Radiance Serum: I loved using this serum in the morning as a morning moisturizer- debating on repurchasing; same issue- too expensive!

Murad Clarifying Cleanser: Love this face wash. This is probably my favorite face wash at this point in time, and definitely will repurchase as it has really made a difference in my skin feeling more smooth and blemish free!

Other Beauty goodies:

Old Spice Sweat Defense Deodorant: Uhm….so obsessed. My armpits have never smelled so incredible and been so sweat resistant….tmi? That’s fine, its un-friggin-believably good.

Garnier Damage Eraser Hair Butter: This hair mask is perfect to put on your hair while in the shower after conditioning. It literally makes your hair soooooo soft. An absolute must-buy.

Lorac Bronzer: Basic, great color, nothing too outstanding

The Body Shop Body Butter in Raspberry: Smells absolutely incredible and really locks in the moisture on my skin! These body butters are some of the most moisturizing skin products I’ve tried- would highly recomment testing these out!

OPI Malaga Wine: The BEST oxblood colorĀ for fall. This is my staple fall color- already repurchased.

MAC Prep and Prime: An okay primer, not my fave but definitely not the worst. Didnt break out my skin at all.

And that’s it guys! I can’t believe I kept all these empty items around…I guess I should do these product empties a bit more often…
