Free Sample Fridays: Kiehl’s Creme de Corps

Hello!

This week on free sample Friday we will be talking about one of my favorite skincare brands: Kiehl’s.

cremedecorps.001

I have been testing this product very recently and have been pleased with the results thus far. Unlike the Ultra Facial Cream that I adore, this moisturizer is for the body. It has a light scent- nothing too overpowering, which in my opinion is perfect.

It isn’t thick like a body butter, but isn’t too watery either. It feels extremely hydrating and is formulated for ultra dry skin- a perfect wintertime moisturizer!

Available on Kiehls.com, this product comes in five different sizes ranging from $11-$75. They offer travel sizes all the way up to a 1 liter pump.

Honestly, in my opinion, you can never go wrong with a Kiehls product. I have yet to be disappointed and trust the brand and their products. This moisturizer, like their others, leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and pampered.

I highly recommend it:)

Free Sample Fridays: Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

Friends,

Gather around. Let me tell you about a story when a small sample product opened a world of skincare delights.

KiehlsFace.001

One, I apologize for my photo. It does not give this product justice. Two, this small sample is brilliant. This concentrate is in liquid form, and with just two-three drops I have been able to moisturize my face nightly.

I also love the smell of this product. Its herbal, soft, and almost floral. I use it each and every night as a moisturizer and skincare remedy. I have combination skin and this keeps the dry patches at bay and doesn’t make my t-zone any more oily than normal.

Would I purchase the full size? Yep, already have. 😉

Let me know what you think of this gem!

Until next week,

My Nighttime Skincare Routine

Hello there!

Ok, I have been adoring my skin care routine lately. I don’t know if it’s the products, the weather, or a combination of all, but my skin has been looking better than ever lately!

I have been using this routine throughout the winter months as it is both hydrating, moisturizing, and deep cleaning.

skincare

First, I wash the days grime away with the Body Shop camomile Cleansing Oil. This cleansing oil smells so good, is incredibly mild on the skin, and does an absolute incredible job at removing tough makeup.

Next, I like to use the Murad Clarifying Cleanser. This deep cleans my skin without over drying it. I always feel like my skin feels so refreshed after using this!

After patting my skin dry, I use the La Roche Posay Effaclar Clarifying Solution on a cotton wool bud and lightly blot it across my problem areas (namely my t-zone). This solution acts as a toner, getting out the excess grime and toning the skin around my nose and chin.

When the clarifying solution dries, I take the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil and blot that on any blemishes that are popping up or have already surfaced. This is such a mild oil, I find it calms redness, soothes irritation and takes away the pain of an oncoming blemish as well.

Finally, I rub a good pump of the Body Shop Blemish Fade Night Lotion all over my face and neck. I adore the smell of this lotion and find that it is absolutely so soothing on my skin at the end of a long work day.

After all this, I like to curl up in bed with a book or Netflix and some fuzzy socks:) And that’s it! My nighttime skin routine in a nutshell!

Until next time,
