Spring Fashion 2015 Lookbook

Hi Friends!

I don’t know about you, but I adore reading fashion magazines, scouring the pages and devouring everything related to what’s in style for the upcoming season.

However, spring is not my favorite season. In fact, it’s my least favorite season of all. Fall is such an exciting time for fashion, winter has the expected layers and scarves, and summer is all about bring free and light. Yet spring is so….blah. What do you wear? Do you layer? Do you wear shorts or pants? Short sleeve or long?

It’s confusing.

So, I’ve made it my mission to make spring a little better for all of us by coming up with some interpretations of spring/summer 2015 runways trends. Because let’s be honest…no one is going to wear those thick socks with the chunky heels and our hair crimped….not naming names….

I did a bit of research. I read many magazines and searched many sites for what was going to be “in” this season. This research concluded that pale ballerina pinks were in- considering channelling your inner ballerina. Stella McCartney had some AH-MAZING pieces. *sigh*

I also noticed quite a bit of structured shoulders this season, which I paired with the softness of the pale pink silk camisole above. Not to toot my own horn or anything….but I made that top. Yeah, I went to college.

And of course, the overwhelming item of interpretation is floral. Floral tops, floral skirts, floral dresses, you name it, it was on the runway. I took a lot of inspiration from Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Peter Som. The great thing about florals are that there are so many colors! Every shoe and every bag suddenly has a match…like when else am I going to wear these kick-booty bright orange pumps?!

What do you think?? I had such a fun time coming up with different outfits for this post and I hope you found some inspiration to get you through until summer!

Now, I’m going to go clean up my floor…and the massive pile of clothes…wait wheres my floor?!
