Brendykins has been upgraded. I started this blog after graduating university to document fun purchases, outfits and other random lifestyle goodies in my everyday life.

Summer Wedding: What to Wear

Summer. The time of iced coffee, swimsuits, and weddings.

I am officially at the age where all of my friends are becoming adults and getting hitched. Which means its time to buy some new outfits.

I mean I’m not complaining, I love shopping and I love my friends and celebrating their love. But damn, this shit is stressful.

We are going to see a bunch of people who knew us in our prime- back when we were 115 lbs and in college. But that was awhile ago, and I don’t know about you, but my life has done a complete 360 since then.

And so begins the mad dash to find the perfect outfit to impress all my friends, fit the mood/theme/location of the wedding and fit in my post-grad budget.

Free Sample Friday: Makeup Forever HD Primer

This Friday I wanted to tell you all about a new primer I’ve been testing out.

I wore this primer all day today (8 hours) and was so impressed, I couldn’t wait to get on here and tell you all about it!

MAC Lipstick Collection

MAC Cosmetics. The mecca for all things lipstick. I remember purchasing my first like it was yesterday. I walked in, nervous, approached a friendly looking staff member (who I happened to go to high-school with, and liked) and asked him to choose the perfect color for me. I gave him no boundaries, no requests. I just said “pick the color you think suits me.”

And the rest is history.

I am not typically a blush girl. My cheeks are naturally quite pink, so anytime I add any additional blush I end up looking a bit embarrassed. But how have I never tried these blushes?
